Two (2) proofs of residency - Copies will be retained in the student file.
Evidence of residency may be established by documentation showing the name and address of the parent/guardian within the district, including, but not limited to, any of the following: (Education Code 48204.1)
- Valid California Driver’s License or California State ID showing family name and address matching residence document
- PG&E or Marin Municipal Water District bill dated no more than 6 weeks prior to enrollment
- Paystub with name and address clearly indicated, dated within 6 weeks of submission
- Voter registration information
- Correspondence from a government agency, dated within 6 weeks of submission
- Current property tax statement
- Current mortgage statement with address
- Closing documents for a recent home purchase, dated within 6 weeks of submission
- Deed of Trust
- Current and dated rental/lease agreement with landlord name and phone number
- A Declaration of Residency by a parent or legal guardian AND a completed Landlord Verification of Tenancy Form
- If the parent/guardian is not on the lease or needs to verify informal living arrangements, you will need to present the Declaration of Residency. The original lease agreement of the person you are living with AND the Shared Residency Affidavit
* Please note that month-to-month rental/lease agreements that are older than one year or rental/lease agreements that expire within the school year and do not convert to month-to-month will require a Landlord Verification of Tenancy Form, including a copy of the original rental/lease agreement.
